How to fix Missing Text in the CMS Editor

If you notice that some of your text appears to be missing or not displaying correctly in the CMS editor, this may be due to copying and pasting content from an external editor.

This can sometimes bring in hidden formatting that causes display issues.

To fix this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Copy the text from the CMS editor.
  2. Paste it into another editor (Notes, Google Docs, or other simple text editor).
  3. Delete the original text from the CMS editor.
  4. Copy the cleaned text from the external editor.
  5. Paste it back into the CMS editor using Shift+command+V on mac or Control+shift+V on PC.

Tips to Prevent the Issue:

  • When possible, write the article directly in the CMS editor. Once you are done you can copy the text and save an external copy of your article.
  • If you prefer drafting elsewhere, use plain-text tools (like Notes or a basic text editor) before pasting content into the CMS.
