By default, the social sharing modal will take its field's data from the article if it's not changed.
To change the social sharing data in the editor, follow these steps:
- Open the article in the editor (Can be before/after it's written)
- On the right side of the Editor Menu, click on the ‘Social Sharing’ button
- Change the fields you wish to customize for the social sharing card (notice the tooltips for restrictions)
- Click Save
If you leave the social sharing fields empty, the data will be displayed the following way:
- Title: The article's original title will be used by default
- Image: The article's cover image will be used by default
- Description: The first 160 characters in the article will be used by default
In case you changed the cover image after you've already submitted a post, you'll have to delete the old cover and upload the new one in the Social Sharing modal as well, and re-submit.
