How do I upload an image from my local computer to my article?

Only users with the Media Administrator role have the ability to upload images. Following these instructions:

  1. Select the “Media” icon (either in the cover image, or within any new text block you create)
  2. In the “Playground” plugin, select “Image Upload”
  3. Select the desired photo from your local computer while considering the system limitations stated in the plugin:
    Supported File Types: jpeg, png, jpg
    Minimum dimensions: 400X224 pixels
    Maximum size: 5MB
  4. Crop image (if needed)
  5. Fill in the Credit and Alt-text (mandatory).
  6. Fill in wanted fields (Caption, Audit Trai, Tags)

Captions and alt text adds relevance to a post through keywords and aids Google’s ability to rank the page.
Note: When uploading an image from your computer, make sure to give the file a descriptive name.

6. Click the “add” button

Media Contributors can upload images to the Media Library and embed them to the article if they have been approved by the admin. To do so, search for the approved image through the CMS Plugin- “Voltax Images”
