How to add a Group Of Links

The GOL is a list of clickable links. Selecting one will redirect the user to the relevant URL.

In order to create a GOL, you need to create an embed in Enrichment (under CMS) and then embed it to your article in the Editor. 

Creating a GOL embed in Enrichment 

Manual Group of Links

1. In CMS>Enrichment, click on ”Create New Embed” 
2. Choose “Group Of Links” 
3. In the Manual configurations, add the name of the GOL embed  
4. Type the first URL you want to add to the embed in the “Article URL” box and click on add link or enter. You can change the order of the URLs by clicking the arrows next to them. 
5. Add up to 10 URLs and click on save.

Automatic Group of Links

1. In CMS>Enrichment, click on ”Create New Embed” 
2. Choose “Group Of Links” 
3. In the Feed configurations, add the name of the GOL embed 
4. Select one of the feed pages of the property you want to link to the GOL 
5. Determine how many articles will be displayed in the GOL by filteringthe “Number of articles” drop-down.
   The GOL displays the most recently updated articles on the feed page. Therefore, thefirst articles that are shown on the feed page. 
6. Click on save. 

Embeding the GOL in the Editor 

1. Copy the GOL embed URL by clicking on “copy URL” in the Enrichment dashboard
2. In the Editor- Click the plus sign button to add a new media block
3. Select “Custom Embed” in the media playground 
4. Paste the URL of the relevant GOL and click save.

To edit a GOL embed, click on "Edit" in the Enrichment dashboard. 

Editing a GOL embed will automatically update all of the articles it is embedded in.
