Reporting System Glossary for ON SI

Column Slug Definitions
Site site The main website hosting the content or article.
CleanURL cleanurl The URL for the article or content page, cleaned from URL parameters
ArticleTitle articletitle The title of the article as displayed on the website.
ArticleAuthor articleauthor The name of the main author of the article.
Additional_Author additional_author The name of additional contributors, if applicable.
ArticleWordRange articlewordrange The estimated word count range of the article.
ArticleFirstPublishedDate articlefirstpublisheddate The date the article was first published on the site.
ArticleLastPublishedDate articlelastpublisheddate The date the article was last updated or modified.
Slideshow slideshow Indicates if the article is presented in slideshow format.
ArticleID articleid Unique identifier for the article.
FanNationURL fannationurl URL indicating OnSI affiliation Site/Folder, if applicable.
TrafficType traffictype The type of traffic (e.g., organic, paid) generating views.
TrafficSource trafficsource Specific source or platform driving traffic to the page, grouped by type (search, direct, referral, social, etc)
SocialNetwork socialnetwork The social network that referred the traffic to our site(s), if applicable.
SOURCE source Specific source of the traffic (e.g., google, facebook, bing, etc).
Medium medium Type of medium that drove the traffic (e.g., newsletter, notification).
Continent continent The continent from which the traffic originated.
Country country The country of origin for the traffic.
Region region The region (state or province) of the user accessing the page.
City city The city of the user accessing the page.
DeviceCategory devicecategory The type of device used (e.g., desktop, mobile, tablet).
Browser browser The browser used to access the page (e.g., Chrome, Safari).
OperatingSystem operatingsystem The operating system of the device (e.g., Windows, iOS).
DeviceLanguage devicelanguage The language setting of the device accessing the article.

 

Metrics

Column Slug Definitions
Duration duration The total time (in seconds) the user spent on the page.
ScrollDepth scrolldepth The percentage of the page scrolled by the user.
Pageviews pageviews The total number of times the page was viewed.
Landing_Pageviews landing_pageviews The number of views where the page was a landing page (session start).
ReCirculation recirculation Percent of times users made another pageview after current page.
UniquePageviews uniquepageviews The number of unique sessions in which the page was viewed.
property_id property_id Identifier for the property or vertical hosting the content.
