Tags and SEO Guide

The SEO title is a major factor in helping search engines understand what your page is about, and they are the first impression readers have of your page, as they are shown in search results. Adding a good SEO title will optimize the article's ranking and increase its click-through rate.

Note: If this field remains empty, the article’s title will be used as the SEO title.

Where:

1. Open the "Editor" and click "Write a new article"
2. Head to the "Tags & SEO" section
3. The "SEO Title" field will appear beneath the "SEO Description" field

Tips:

1.  Write a short, unique, compelling, and accurate description of the page.
2.  Use the main targeted keywords within a naturally phrased sentence.
3.  Keep it short, between 50 - 60 characters.

Add a brief summary of the article, including all the relevant keywords. Use it as a chance to maximize the visibility of your articles in search engine result pages (SERP), as the summary will appear below the page title as its SEO description. If you choose to leave this field empty, the article’s first 160 characters will be used as the SEO description. 

Note that the maximum length for the description is 160 characters. 

Also, To the right side of the SEO description box, you will notice Voltax AI meta description suggestion tool AKA Voltax Spark, which allows to choose from 5 different option created by Voltax's AI detection tool.

Before publishing your article, you must add at least three tags. Type in the most relevant keywords to your title, separating them with the Enter key. If the tag already exists in our system, it will be auto-completed as you type.

Tag suggestions

The tag suggestions tool will make your tag creation process much easier and faster. Our system is constantly scanning your article while you are writing it and comes up with a list of tags relevant to its content. Click on the (+) sign to add a tag from the suggested list and on (x) to delete a tag you don’t want to use. 

This feature will help you add relevant hyperlinks to your articles according to their content. Adding hyperlinks will improve your site's internal linking and amp-up the articles' SEO ranking.

In addition to adding the links manually, you can also use the hyperlink suggestions menu as well.

1. Quickly access Voltax’s smart hyperlink suggestions in a dedicated section that sits below the SEO fields menu on the right side of the screen. 
2. Select one relevant page and click on the "Copy URL" button (next to the page name)
3. Select a word within the article, click on the "add link" button and paste the URL
